Trying to replicate the appearance of cells has been difficult at times, but at last an idea!!

By crocheting some jelly yarn and then knitting it with my giant knitting needles, I have discovered quite an interesting effect!

So I’ve had one EUREKA moment, now I need lots more….

Some more pictures using jelly yarn. This time with the lights on!

Planning to scale these up so they’re really BIG! Made some giant knitting needles in the workshop the other day, I’ll have to post a picture of them soon!

I’ve been playing around with jelly yarn, brilliant stuff!

Been making some samples inspired by plant cells, using mercerised cotton, horsehair &  jelly yarn!

Discovered after working late into the night that one of the jelly yarns glows in the dark! OOhhhhhhh! Here are some pictures, enjoy!

Tied my last knot at hackney wick yesterday and sipped champagne…well sparkling wine.

Need to find something else to do with my life now.
